How does the Web site work?

hosted on the Internet for you and is immediately available so that anyone with a Web browser
can visit your Web site. Initially, your Web site will contain sample graphics, links, and
content to give you examples of how you can personalize it. As soon as your Web site is
open, you can begin changing the text, uploading your own pictures and decorating your Web
site any way you like.

How much does a Web site cost?

Your first month is free, giving you a no-risk opportunity to try the service. After 30 days, if you have already given us a valid credit card for your account, we will automatically start charging you for your site and it will remain open. You may call or email us at anytime to cancel. If we do not already have a valid credit card on file, you may continue your service by providing a valid credit card number. The service costs $19.95 per month. This includes 10 megabytes (MB) of disk space for storing files, folders, pictures, etc. that you use to personalize your office. In addition, you can choose from a library of professionally designed Web site template oriented towards an individual, an organization offering services or selling products, or an industry specific template such as real estate, travel agent, recruiter, and many more.

What does my Web site service include?

Your Web site service includes Web pages you can quickly and easily personalize, integrated

- Areas to post your graphics, photos and favorite Web page links to share on the Web

How will visitors find my Web site on the Internet?

In order to be found by an Internet Search engine, such as Yahoo! or InfoSeek, Web pages
use an embedded code called a META tag. META tags are part of the HTML code and contain
things such as keywords, or a short description of the Web page, that are indexed on the
Search engine.

Your Web site comes with an area to add customizable META tags in the HTML coding. You will
need to have your meta tag keywords and descriptions prepared before submitting your site
to the Search Engines. Meta tags can be created in the setup area of your site (under
Preferences). For more information on Meta tags and registering with Search Engines, go
to Tips and Tricks

In addition, you can obtain a custom domain name (i.e., www.yourname.com) for your Web
site. Go to the Custom Domain Name page to see if your name is
available and to sign up. Note: You must first sign up for a Web site before
obtaining a custom domain name.

How do I get customer support for my Web site?

the Customer Support link to submit questions and receive a response via email.

How do I edit my Web site?
-
Editing your Web site is easy. First, click on the Sign In ... link on the Home page of your Web site. Enter your user name and password when prompted. You can now make
any edits to your Web site. Remember, when you make changes, you need to save them by
clicking on the Save button. When you are finished editing a specific area click Save. The changes you made will now appear in your Web site.
If you do not see the changes, click on your browser's Reload or Refresh button.

Can I add more disk space to my Web site?

When you move in, you will have 10 MB of disk space for your Web site. You can purchase more disk space in increments of 10MB. Each additional 10 MB of
disk space costs $2.95 per month.

Can I edit the HTML pages in my Web site?
-
You can not manually edit the HTML used to create pages for your Web site. You can customize
certain aspects of the office by enabling or disabling features and adding your own text,
graphics and links. Additionally, you can use HTML tags in most of the text areas of your
Web site. For example, you can bold text, add bullets, and use other HTML formatting.

Where will my Web site reside?

Your Web site will reside on a server with the address ebiz.netopia.com. Your account name will
be used to create your Web site address on this server. For example, John Doe's Web site
address would be ebiz.netopia.com/jdoe

What does a person need to visit my Web site?
-
Anyone with a Web browser can visit your site. Visitors accessing your Web site
should use Netscape Navigator 3.02 and above with JavaScript Support, or Internet Explorer
3.02 and above with Authenticode 2.0 and JavaScript Support. site owners should use Netscape
4.0 or higher or Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher.

Visitors to your office can see all of your Web site, leave you a message, pick up files
you've left in your folders, and check out your links and pictures. If they want to
interact with you, they will need to download some additional software which is free.
Visitors will be directed to a location where they can download the software.

I'm behind a firewall. Can I use your Web site?
-
Your Web site is firewall compliant and can be used from behind a firewall. Some real-time
Conference Room features may not work depending on your specific network. If you are behind
a firewall, you will be able to set up a Web site and download and upload
pictures and files, as well as retrieve messages from your site. However, the Conference Room
features will not work unless certain TCP and UDP ports are open. In addition, your Web site
will appear to be "Offline" to visitors outside the firewall.

Can I control access to certain areas of my Web site?

Yes. You can password protect folders so that only certain visitors with a login and password
that you assign can view and download files. These passwords are separate from your owner
password. Only someone possessing your unique account name and password can change the
setup of your Web site.
